Melt-In-Your-Mouth Pancakes recipe
They really do melt in your mouth and are about as easy to make as stuff you pour from a container. Serve them with butter and carb (carbohydrates)-free or low-carb (carbohydrates) syrups, fresh fruit, or blueberry sauce. If all you want to eat is pancakes, the recipe serves one. CombinedSwith sausage, ham or something else, this is a serving for two.

Preparation time: 5 minutes. Cooking time: 3 to 4 minutes.

Serving size, three to four 3-inch pancakes. carbs per serving,: 2.6 grams of carb (carbohydrates).

Preheat a heavy, nonstick, large griddle over medium to medium-low heat.
Combine ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Beat vigorously with a fork or wire whish until the batter is well mixed and smooth.

Spoon batter
onto the hot ungreased griddle (it is hot enough when a drop of water splashed
on it bounces around). Allow for expansion of pancakes. (Note the batter is a
bit on the thin side; that's okay.) Watch for bubbles and a hint of dryness on
top before turning. The pancakes tend to darken more quickly than other pancakes
you may be used to, so check early.
Hot Cereal (Flax/Bran)
Ingredients for hot cereal recipe:

2 tablespoons oat bran

2 tablespoons flax meal

2/3 cup water
-
1 packet splenda
-
dash cinnamon
-
1 teaspoon maple extract
Stir all ingredients together and microwave for 2 minutes. (Can add splash of cream).
Serves 1 @ 13 carb (carbohydrates) (net 8 carb (carbohydrates )s)
Almond Flour Pancakes
Ingredients for almond flour pancakes recipe:

5 tablespoons almond flour

1 tablespoon sour cream

1 tablespoon water
-
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cooking oil

1 packet splenda
-
1 splash SF French vanilla syrup
Mix all ingredients. Spray skillet with non-stick spray and heat. Spoon pancakes into pan (about 3) Cook on just under medium heat until one side bubbles. Turn, cook for few minutes until done.
Serves 1 @ 7 carb (carbohydrates )s (4 effective carb (carbohydrates )s)

Hot Flax Cereal
Ingredients for hot flax cereal recipe:

1/4 cup flax meal

1/4 cup light cream

1/3 cup water

1 packet splenda

cinnamon
Mix all ingredients and microwave for 2 minutes.
Serves 1 @ 13 carb (carbohydrates) (net 6 carb (carbohydrates )s)
Pancakes
Ingredients for pancakes recipe

1/2 cup vanilla whey protein powder
-
1/2 cup ricotta cheese

2 Tablespoon heavy cream
-
2 packets Splenda
-
2 large eggs
-
2 teaspoons baking powder
-
dash cinnamon & nutmeg
Mix together with wire whisk. Add little water until fairly thin consistency. Spray pan with cooking spray. When pan hot, spoon batter in and spread a little. Cook until bubbly on one side; turn and cook few more minutes.
Serves 2 @ 6 carb (carbohydrates)
